I transitioned from medicine to tech after seeing how much better software could be. Now I build tools that solve real problems, combining clinical insight with clean, efficient code.

About

In 2024, I left healthcare to focus fully on building software. I started out studying biomedical science and working in hospitals and cancer research labs. Along the way, I saw how broken a lot of healthcare tech was. So in 2022, I co-founded Bloorsoft and started building better tools. Now, I’m all in on writing clean code and solving real problems with tech.

Princess Margaret Cancer Centre

Proficiently managed scheduling for a range of medical procedures including CT scans, MRI scans, and MUGA tests, as well as coordinate follow-up appointments, utilizing the Epic platform for efficient patient care coordination
Assisted patients during their check-in process, prioritizing their comfort and ensuring a seamless experience throughout their visit

Worked in different positions and departments such as cardio diagnostic imaging, MRI, and central waiting room
Directly interacted with more than 200 patients during each one of my shifts to help them with finding and getting to their desired locations and comforting them when they were feeling distress

Handled collecting and migrating data for more than 150 patients on a weekly basis from EPR to EPIC
Passed various courses regarding different types of cancers, their treatment options, and possible clinical trials

Collected data for multiple projects using platforms such as OTTR and EHR
Learned extensively about transplant procedures and participated in different seminars and competitions
Conducted research on the impacts of marijuana on kidney health and dysfunction
Analyzed and integrated COVID-19 vaccination data for over 2,000 patients into the OTTR platform
